About The Speaker

Ru Hollier

Creative Director/Music Supervisor, ASM/Redfive

Rupert is the Creative Director of Atlantic Screen Music, and supervision agency, Redfive, where is he also co-founder. Ru started his career in music publishing in 1998,at Music Copyright Solutions, and latterly Kingstreet Media. Subsequently, as a freelance music supervisor. In 2009 joined Imagem (now Concord) as Head of Film.

He joined Metropolis Group in 2014 as Creative Director and founded the publishing division and quickly secured an impressive repertoire of artists, bands and composers, racking up multiple synchronisation placements and campaigns. Having also founded and set up Metropolis Music Supervision, in 2016 he won both Best TV Advert and Overall Sync of the Year as music supervisor at the MusicWeek Sync Awards.

Since co-founding music supervision agency Redfive, Ru’s film and TV projects include Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Oscar-nominated projects films such as The Wife, The Trip and McQueen, also including recent films such as Worth and Mothering Sunday, where he has both supervised the commercial music and coordinated the scores. Upcoming credits include the new Roland Emmerich space epic Moonfall, and Number Nine Film’s adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel, Living, starring Bill Nighy.

Ru is vice president of The UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors.

Postponement of Future Music Forum Barcelona

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the highly anticipated 13th edition of the Future Music Forum Barcelona, originally scheduled to take place in Barcelona from Sept 25th-27th, 2024, will be postponed. This decision was not made lightly, as we understand the excitement and preparation that has gone into this event from attendees, speakers, and sponsors alike.

Recent developments have made it clear that proceeding with the conference as planned would not be in the best interest of our community. We are currently working diligently to secure new dates for 2025 and will announce them as soon as possible.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your understanding and patience during this time. Our team is committed to delivering the exceptional experience you have come to expect from the FMF. We believe that by postponing, we can better ensure an innovative and enriching event for everyone involved.

All purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates or reimbursed.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appreciate your continued support. We are optimistic that with your support, the rescheduled conference will be a phenomenal success, bringing together the brightest minds in music and technology in a safe and inspiring setting.
