Emilien Moyon

Director Music business, Berklee

I am an experienced academic leader dedicated to developing innovative educational programs at the intersection of Music x Business x Technology.

As the Director of the Music Business Graduate Program at Berklee for the last decade, I have created a unique learning experience combining cutting-edge skills and transformative experiences to prepare the next generations of leaders, entrepreneurs, problem solvers.

As a result, the program is now recognized as one of the best in Music Business (Billboard’s ranking). Our priority is to help our students acquire the skills, experiences and professional network that will lead them to a successful and happy career. With that philosophy in mind, I have created an unparalleled network of professionals and mentors who contribute to their learning experience (50+ guests per year from diverse backgrounds and career paths). I have also built several projects to enhance students’ practical experience such as Musaico Fest, Berklee Valencia’s 1st Music Festival, Disrupción Records, Berklee Valencia’s first Music Label and TEDxBerkleeValencia.

As a conference speaker, I had the opportunity to share my work and research at international conferences including Harvard, SXSW, MIDEM, Sonàr, Primavera Sounds. Outside of work, I am a fan of old school hip-hop, nature and good food (especially from Asia), I will never miss out on an opportunity to enjoy a nice bowl of Phö.

Postponement of Future Music Forum Barcelona

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the highly anticipated 13th edition of the Future Music Forum Barcelona, originally scheduled to take place in Barcelona from Sept 25th-27th, 2024, will be postponed. This decision was not made lightly, as we understand the excitement and preparation that has gone into this event from attendees, speakers, and sponsors alike.

Recent developments have made it clear that proceeding with the conference as planned would not be in the best interest of our community. We are currently working diligently to secure new dates for 2025 and will announce them as soon as possible.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your understanding and patience during this time. Our team is committed to delivering the exceptional experience you have come to expect from the FMF. We believe that by postponing, we can better ensure an innovative and enriching event for everyone involved.

All purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates or reimbursed.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appreciate your continued support. We are optimistic that with your support, the rescheduled conference will be a phenomenal success, bringing together the brightest minds in music and technology in a safe and inspiring setting.
