I’m Daniel O’Connell, a sound technician and audio mastering engineer with extensive experience in the music industry. I started my career as a director, recording and mixing technician in my studio “312 Estudio” in the city of Rosario, Argentina, where I worked on more than 300 productions with renowned artists, DJs, producers and bands. I have attended workshops and conferences around the world with some of the most renowned sound engineers including Geoff Emerick, Moses Schneider, Daniel Ovie, and have continued my education at SAE Barcelona and the London School of Sound, UK.

After ten years at “312 Estudio”, I decided to continue my artistic path and passion for music and dedicate my career to professional music Mastering.
In 2022 I opened “O’Connell Mastering” in the city of Barcelona, Spain. The studio’s approach combines analog equipment and modern digital technology to create an authentic, professional sound for every project. From EQs and compressors to transistors and tubes, our state-of-the-art analog gear ensures your music has the character and depth it deserves.

As a mastering engineer, my goal is to create exciting sound that connects the artist with their audience.
