Åsa Carild have worked with music and its industry from many angels,
Such as CEO of Polaris, head of business development ICE.
Head of international licensing Stim. Prior to this, Åsa was an entrepreneur in the gaming industry with the company Muchdifferent, and befor this she worked at Nokia as manager for the Nordic mobile music venture. She was a board member of SOM the Swedish indie music producers organization for many years where she enabled Indie labels to get digital distribution. Åsa did this at the same time as running independent record company Exergy/Rothhändle recordings.
Åsa has a background in the academic world, and has done an extensive study about the impact of digitalization on the music business. Lately she have joined the team at Heaven 11 focusing bringing their solutions with a modern copyright database, processing, and distribution to a wider market. Åsa started her career as a musician with the band Pineforest crunch and are still recording and playing with her project Akaba.
She has moderated and attended panels for example at Wallifornia, SXSW, Music biz and the great Escape.
